A Future of Scalability

Hi to all bounty hunters out there! Last night, I successfully tested my channel system as well as my cross channel chat/party system. Basically, the channel system is a group of server executables that players can “Channel Change” between. This combined with my new Chat Server executable allows players to play on different servers while still being able to chat in global, party, guild, whispers as well as use party commands. Friend and Guild commands coming next.

This marks another big step for Memories Online, as it allows me to scale the game to pretty much any size to meet any level of player demand that might come. Even if the game doesn’t have a high player count, it’s really reassuring to know that the game could at least handle it. In my book, its another big step for Memories Online’s development and path towards a sustainable future, and overall something that I’m just really excited about.
